Megan Morrison, DO
Dr. Morrison is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of West Florida in 2006, and received her Doctorate in Osteopathy from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010.
Dr. Morrison completed her residency in Dermatology and Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital- Michigan State University. Dr. Morrison has published many journal articles, is a guest editor for a few dermatology journals and has coauthored multiple book chapters in the dermatologic literature. She is presently Secretary/Treasurer of the Tennessee Dermatologic Society and is a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. Dr. Morrison is also trained in aesthetic dermatology, with extensive training in mid face rejuvenation using toxins and fillers.
When not working Dr. Morrison enjoys hiking and camping with her husband, daughter, son and dog (Rhett’n A Butler), as well as photography.
Pezhman Shoureshi, DO
Dr. Shoureshi is a Board Certified Dermatologist who practices general dermatology at the Smyrna, TN and Thompson’s Station, TN locations. He has a special interest in complex medical dermatology and cutaneous oncology. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, he completed a Masters of Science in Molecular Biology at the University of Denver. He received his medical degree from the Lake Erie college of osteopathic medicine Erie, PA.
Dr. Shoureshi completed his Dermatology residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. While training at one of the leading academic dermatology residencies in the country, he had the privilege of working at the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs medical center with the wonderful men and women of the Armed Services. Dr. Shoureshi is currently a past President of the Tennessee Dermatology Society, and is a member of the Nashville Dermatology Society, Tennessee Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He has published several journal articles and has lectured at various national conferences.
Outside of dermatology, Dr. Shoureshi enjoys hiking, camping, and travel with his wife, children and dog. He is also involved with various local, national, and international medical and community volunteer organizations.
Amy Methvin, PA-C
Amy Methvin, PA-C is a surgical physician assistant, certified through the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed through the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners. Amy attended University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated as a Surgical Physician Assistant in 2005.
At Harpeth Valley Dermatology, Amy excels at diagnosing and treating skin cancers. She is experienced in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Amy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Tennessee Society of Physician Assistants.
Outside of dermatology, Amy enjoys gardening, photography, and travel with her husband and daughter.
Benjamin Bashline, DO
Dr. Bashline is a Board Certified Dermatologist who practices general dermatology. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History from Creighton University in 2008, and received his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013. Dr. Bashline completed his residency in Dermatology at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital System – Michigan State University in 2017.
Dr. Bashline has authored numerous journal articles and presented at several large dermatology conferences around the country. Dr. Bashline has a special interest in complex medical and tropical dermatology. Dr. Bashline is currently a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Tennessee Dermatology Society and the Tennessee Medical Association. Dr. Bashline is additionally trained in aesthetic dermatology, including facial rejuvenation with injectable toxins and fillers, as well as laser modalities.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bashline enjoys traveling, staying fit and active and exploring Tennessee.

Lauren, RN
Lead Clinical Nurse
Lauren is originally from East Tennessee. She moved to Murfreesboro for college in 2003 and loved it so much she now calls it her hometown. After a 10 year stint as a career student, she was called to a career as a nurse. She graduated with her associates in nursing at Nashville State Community College and her RN from Daymar College in Owensboro, KY. A true philomath (a lover of learning), Lauren is always seeking out new knowledge through research and experience. When she has some free time, she enjoys discovering all that Middle Tennessee has to offer with her wife, Selena, two beagles, Franklin and Daisy, and kitty Scarlett.

Lead Administrative Nurse
Megan attended Middle Tennessee State University and graduated from Cumberland University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has over five years of experience in a hospital setting and over four years in the dermatology and aesthetics setting.
Megan lives in Murfreesboro with her husband and two daughters. When not working, she enjoys family time outdoors, shopping and traveling. She is a Knoxville native and a huge fan of Tennessee and Titans football.

Cara, RN
Dermatology Nurse
Cara is a native of Middle Tennessee and has been a nurse since 2011. She attended Belmont University where she received a bachelors of science in nursing. She has worked in several areas of nursing but has found her home in Dermatology.
When she isn’t working, she loves spending time with her husband, children and her two doggies Brodie and Briggs. She also enjoys visiting local coffee shops, working out, bargain hunting and spending time with her family.

Olivia, RN
Dermatology Nurse
Olivia is a native Middle Tennessee resident. She attended the University of Tennessee with a degree in Forensic Anthropology. She, ultimately, decided that nursing was her passion and attended the Tennessee College of Applied Technology, becoming an LPN, then Motlow State Community College for her RN. She has been working in dermatology for five years, and has previous experience as a psych nurse.
When not working, Olivia stays busy with her husband, children, and two Dalmatians. She enjoys all things Tennessee football and spending time outdoors with her family.

Scott, MA
Mohs Histotechnologist
Scott-sama is a 34 year old American Otaku (Anime fan for you gaijins). He spends most of his days perfecting his art by drawing Anime and Manga on his tablet.
When he's not cutting tissue in the lab, he can be found home training with his katana -- It's a superior weapon that can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. He earned his sword license two years ago, and has been getting better every day. His dream is to someday move to Japan and attend a prestigious High School to learn more about the country's magnificent culture. He hopes to become an animator for Studio Ghibli or become a game designer!

Dermatology Medical Assistant
Jacqueline is from the middle Tennessee area and has been a Certified Medical Assistant since 2015. Much of her experience comes from Gastrointestinal as well as primary care, and Pediatric offices. She considers herself a “Jack(ie) of the trade” and is a mother of three girls. She enjoys spending time with her family and doing activities such as gardening, children sport activities, attending festivals, and trying new foods. Jackie hopes to further her education in the medical field and aspires to be an RN. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows her to provide specific care and communicate with a vast group of patients. She has found her home here in Dermatology and enjoys the constant learning.

Dermatology Nurse
Kelsey has lived in middle TN her whole life. Currently she lives in the small town of Culleoka, TN. She has always had a passion for caring for others and has been a nurse for over 10 years now. Kelsey graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology. She has worked in a variety of settings over the years. She started her career in pediatrics doing private duty skilled nursing and is really excited to now be a part of the Dermatology world.
When not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. She loves a good cup of coffee or tea. Kelsey likes to do a variety of crafts. She tends to spend most of her free time outdoors, and especially enjoys going to the TN river or to the beach with family and friends (wearing sunscreen of course).

Front Desk Administrator
Bre is originally from Northwest Ohio. She moved to Nashville in 2017 after she graduated college to serve as an intern in Children’s Ministry. After serving as an intern she knew she wanted to find ways to serve people outside the church. That is when she got involved in administration work later working as a receptionist .
She’s a lover of coffee, music and plants. She spends most of her time with her family and two dogs. Bre loves exploring Nashville and attending concerts.

Jenn is originally from Napa CA and moved here in May of 2020. She enjoyed Tennessee so much that she decided to stay. With many years of experience in the administrative field as well as a degree in medical assisting Jenn has found her home in dermatology. When she isn’t working Jenn enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, shopping and visiting her family in CA.

Rachel was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. With a passion for helping others she has many years experience in the Customer Service field as well as several years in Medical Administration.
Rachel spends her free time with her husband, Scott, her son, Noah and two cats, Jack & Jill. She loves reading, music, watching TV with family, and cheering for the TN Titans & Memphis Grizzlies.

Aesthetician
Hannah is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician. She graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology Aesthetics Program and began her Aesthetics journey in the salon atmosphere, but soon discovered her passion was in corrective skin care. She holds many certifications in advanced aesthetics; however, her specialties include Targeted skin care routines, Medical-Grade Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, and RadioFrequency Microneedling. Hannah is originally from North Mississippi, but now resides in Middle Tennessee with her three dogs: Hank, Prince and Winnie. When away from her job, Hannah enjoys spending time with her friends, binge watching crime shows, and going to concerts! Her job is her passion and walking alongside her clients while on the journey to the skin of their dreams is the most rewarding part. She is so happy to have found her home at HVD!

Rhea is from the Philippines and has been with Harpeth Valley since 2021. Before working with Dermatology she worked as a Customer Service Team Lead with a Healthcare Insurance in her country. In her free time you will see her on headphones rocking to alternative rock music, and binge watching Animes (Sugoi), and Kdramas (Hwaiting). She enjoys spending time with her husband, and 2 little boys. She love going on fun hiking trips and exploring different beaches with families and friends.

Suzi, MA, LMA
Dermatology MA/ Aesthetician
Suzi was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. With over 20 years in the medical field, she has experience in multiple specialties including pulmonary, cardiology and internal medicine as a Licensed Medical Assistant. In 2007 she decided to pursue her passion for skincare by obtaining her Medical Aesthetic License from Georgia Career Institute. Since obtaining her aesthetic license she has continued to grow in skin care knowledge by working alongside plastic surgeons and dermatologists. She is certified in multiple skin care lines as well as many cosmetic treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling and laser treatments. In 2022 Suzi was awarded the Ruthie Award for Favorite Aesthetician.
Suzi is happy to call Harpeth Valley Dermatology her work home where they share a passion for skin health and where she can utilize both her aesthetic and medical assistant skills. When not at work she enjoys traveling, running, being outdoors and spending time with her family.

Villa is a virtual assistant from the Philippines. She completed a Two-Year Nursing Aide course and later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communication. With years of experience in the US healthcare industry, she adeptly applies her knowledge to provide optimal virtual assistance.
During her leisure time, when she isn't occupied with work, church ministry or tending to her pets, Villa finds great pleasure in exploring new destinations and immersing herself in different cultures. She embraces the opportunity to try new cuisines and create lasting memories through her travel experiences.
